The PCT-2102FSM is a stand-alone 100Base-FXmulti mode to single-mode converter. This special designed multi-mode to single-mode converter allow customer to upgrade or expand their existing 100M fiber network easily and cost effectively.
The PCT-2102FSM is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3u standards, operates at 100Mbps - half or full duplex mode. In full duplex configuration, the PCT-2102FSM provides a maximum bandwidth of up to 200Mbps for distances of up to 2Km using multi mode fiber cable on one side and up to 100Km using single mode fiber cable on the otherside. Install and operate the PCT-2102FSM is simple and straight forward
The PCT-2102FSM works well with our CCT-CHASSIS and CCT slide-in converter modules as well and also complements any other products featuring a 100Base-FX interface.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
